Knight kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Killing In The Name. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Knight rushes Hassan and presses him up against the cage.

Knight has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Hassan regains guard immediately.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Knight connects with a nice short shot to Hassan's temple.

Knight is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Hassan can do anything to dispel that myth.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Veilleux definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Veilleux cracks Ataides with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Ataides looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Veilleux finish him?

It looks like Leandro Ataides has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Nice body punch from Veilleux.
Ataides shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Veilleux as he jumps to the side.

Sept Heures has instead reached around Gerrard's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Sept Heures arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.

McQuade is really struggling to control Edilhson but he's trying to hold on to the position.
We've been hearing good reports from McQuade's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.
Edilhson controls McQuade momentarily but McQuade frees himself.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
McQuade tries to free his leg and advance position but Edilhson is retaining full guard.
McQuade sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Edilhson's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Edilhson is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of McQuade's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take McQuade's back!
You can see the frustration on McQuade's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
