Patton has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

Patton connects with a combination that backs up Dez into the cage. Patton lands a flurry of punches that gets past Dez's guard. Dez is down and the referee has seen enough. It is all over! Patton bursts into tears - this win obviously means a huge amount to him.

Silva feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Lisiowski is looking to stand up but Silva isn't so interested in that idea.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Fadden postures up from his opponent's guard, before exploding into some vicious ground and pound! Dijkman covers up, he's hurt! Fadden keeps throwing the strikes, glancing at the referee... Will he stop it?? One more big shot from Fadden and the ref steps in to end the fight! Fadden can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.
