The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Zulu decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Rei Zulu overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

The Monster throws a strike but Zulu rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Boswell walks into a straight right hand from Arenas.
Boswell closes the distance but Arenas moves to the side
and Arenas counters with a leg kick.

Arenas throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Boswell on the side of the head.
Boswell definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Boswell gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Boswell tries to score a power double leg takedown but Arenas sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Boswell somewhat.
Arenas connects with an inside leg kick.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Boswell throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Arenas's waist but Arenas gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Boswell off to one side.

Arenas feints a jab promting Boswell to slip. Arenas then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Boswell slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Arenas throws a series of strikes that have Boswell backpedaling.

Arenas lands with a jab that stuns his opponent. Boswell is looking to close the distance but Arenas sees it coming and throws a beautiful knee! Boswell crumbles to the mat and that's all she wrote! Let's hope Boswell is OK because that was naaaaaasty!
