This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Obeliks Imxatebov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Imxatebov connects with a good right hand that stumbles Puaoi. Puaoi circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

A punch lands to the side of Puaoi 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Oh Puaoi is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Puaoi moves out of range as Imxatebov strikes.
Imxatebov missing with a left hand there. Puaoi was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Imxatebov drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Puaoi right on the button. Puaoi goes down! Imxatebov follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Imxatebov gets the win via TKO!

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Jason Ronny.

Hernandez drops a shoulder and throws a monster hook that connects perfectly to the side of Bubba's head, knocking him out cold! Hernandez is extatic as he celebrates with his cornermen.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Boswell shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Arenas sprawls well. Arenas wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Boswell gets slowly back to his feet.
Boswell changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Arenas tries to avoid it but Boswell manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Arenas to the ground. Arenas escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

An inside leg kick lands from Arenas.
Oh Boswell is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Arenas connects with a crisp jab.
Boswell gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Arenas gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!

Nicolas Arenas decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
