Martin gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Otto.
Otto tries a head kick but it misses.
Otto bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Martin's head.

It looks like James Martin has been cut.
Otto fakes the leg kick and cracks Martin in the body.
Otto bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Otto connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Martin tumbling to the canvas! Otto pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Martin was done - good stoppage!

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Brandon McCall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Adam Tankard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McCall comes to the cage accompanied by Final Countdown. Both these fighters are unbeaten, so somebody's 0 has got to go!Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tankard uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by McCall.
Some wild striking there from McCall.
McCall slips under a jab.
McCall has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from McCall there as he acknowledges the shot.
McCall misses with a series of wild punches.
McCall throws a right hand that Tankard ducks under and follows up with a left that Tankard also avoids with ease.
Tankard tries to close the distance and clinch up but McCall swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Tankard closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Tankard lands in his opponent's guard.
McCall wants to stand and escape but Tankard is having none of it.
Tankard is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Tankard stands and throws McCall's legs to the side, diving into side control.

McCall is looking for a sweep.
Tankard tries to score with some ground and pound. McCall controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.

McCall is desperately trying to improve his position but Tankard has a good base and remains in mount.

McCall is squirming around, avoiding Tankard's attempts to control the action.
Tankard is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.

Tankard is working for a guillotine from mount but McCall frees his head quite easily.
Tankard looking to control but McCall is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Tankard throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for McCall because Tankard loaded up on that one.
McCall tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Tankard scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish McCall?
Tankard looking to control but McCall is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
McCall avoids a strike by Tankard and manages to complete a very nice reversal in the process, to end up in Tankard's guard! Fantastic escape!
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Tankard holds on and takes a little breather.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

McCall lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
McCall tries to clinch there but Tankard circles away.

Tankard drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
McCall takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
