Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Fergus Mitchell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chris Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mitchell kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Get Up. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith stalks Mitchell and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Mitchell's face. Mitchell staggers backwards, shaken.
Mitchell throws a right and a left that Smith avoids nicely.
Mitchell does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Mitchell takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Smith throws a head kick that misses.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Smith.
Mitchell is looking to land body kicks.

and Mitchell takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Mitchell tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Mitchell takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Smith has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Mitchell lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Smith - that will leave a mark!
Mitchell has not gone for a single takedown so far in this fight, which seems like a very strange tactic when you consider that he has the superior wrestling and BJJ.

Well Smith has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Condit is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Lookens keeps the fight on the outside.
Condit looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Condit walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Lookens checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Condit, as that shot connected.

Condit drops Lookens with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Lookens looks back up at him and smiles so Condit waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Lookens is rocked!

It looks like Louken Lookens has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
I'm just looking down at my notes here and I see that.... oh! Condit has cracked Lookens with a big right, followed by a left! He's out on his feet! Condit lands another huge swinging hook and Lookens tumbles to the canvas! The ref dives in to save Lookens , before Condit can land any more shots!

Heart connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Porucha some visible discomfort.

Heart scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Porucha is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Heart can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!

We've been told by Metaxa's head coaches at Allstars MMA that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Hunter will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

ODonnell moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
A slapping body kick lands there for Anders.
Anders fakes the leg kick and cracks ODonnell in the body.
ODonnell tries to clinch but Anders moves away
and Anders cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Anders bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps ODonnell's head backwards.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Anders keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
ODonnell takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

and Anders counters with a head kick that wobbles ODonnell - left then right he sways and one more bomb from Anders sends him down. This one is all over!
