The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boxen shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Ellenbogen but Ellenbogen pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Ellenbogen closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Boxen quickly recovers to half guard.

Snow tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Flemming paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Joney Snow seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That kick from Snow tenderised Flemming's leg. Flemming is trying to keep his angry face on.
Flemming swats away the attempt to clinch by Snow.

and Flemming counters with a shoot takedown. Snow fights it but they end up in guard.

Flemming is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Snow is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Snow flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Flemming anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Snow and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Flemming slips an arm under Snow chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Flemming has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Flemming is squeezing on Snow like an anaconda would it's prey. Snow fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!

Chinski drops back looking for a leg! Rodriguez is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Rodriguez manages to kick Chinski off! Chinski jumps back into Rodriguez's guard.

Rodriguez escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Chinski gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Chinski stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Rodriguez swivels though and keeps the full guard.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Riccardo Rodriguez.
Well Chinski has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
