This has been an exciting period of action!

Laser is nestled in close to Smith, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Laser uses his free foot to push down on Smith's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Smith.

Ala looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Ala lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Business circles away quickly and effectively.
Business shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Ala defends it nicely.
Business shoots for a takedown but Ala saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Business closes the distance and clinches up with Ala, looking for a takedown. Business pushes Ala against the cage but Ala circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

We've been told by James's head coaches at Favela Fight Gym that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

Peter James has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Royler Gracie.
James uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
James throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Gracie stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
James is looking for an opening here. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches Gracie flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! Gracie is out cold! James holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!
