The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Fenson closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Money Maker to the mat! Money Maker manages to get full guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Money Maker is looking to stand back up but Fenson counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Money Maker.

Nice defenses there by Fenson.
Fenson gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Money Maker gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Fenson is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!

Toushiro is stalling here. Kvant is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Toushiro seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Kvant has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

Toushiro sneaks out the side door and pushes Kvant away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.

The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Kvant, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.

Abel Toushiro decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.

Jr really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Scott. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Tunney leaves Flint with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Flint shoots in for a takedown but Tunney shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Tunney enables Flint to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Tunney manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Tunney knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Flint on the ground.

Horrible takedown by Flint or perhaps it was just good defense by Tunney which made him look bad.
