Kharitonov buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Kharitonov's coach down at GreatWall MMA was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Kharitonov's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Kharitonov fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Tauno.
Tauno misses with a double jab.
Jab, jab by Kharitonov - just one landing.
Kharitonov throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Kharitonov, as that shot connected.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Sergei Kharitonov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Tauno gets caught by a brutal right hook which buckles his knees! Tauno tries to backpedal with his spaghettilegs but Kharitonov is headhunting and goes for the kill. A jab and a right hook connect and Tauno buckles badly as his eyes roll back. The referee steps in and saves Tauno!! Tauno is complaining but he was clearly out on his feet. Kharitonov throws his mouthpiece into the crowd. Mmmm spit-tastic.
