Lugo tries to land a front kick but Hohung steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Hohung circles away from the clinch attempt
and Hohung counters with a head kick. That will keep Lugo thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!
Lugo throws a right hand that Hohung ducks under and follows up with a left that Hohung also avoids with ease.
Lugo misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Lugo misses the shot to the body.

Lugo fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Hohung, pushing him back against the cage.
Hohung jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Lugo walks away with a smile on his face. Hohung gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Lugo lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Hohung circles away quickly and effectively.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Hohung.
Hohung shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Lugo sprawls well. Lugo wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Hohung gets slowly back to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ming Hohung. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

It looks like Ming Hohung has been cut.
Lugo lands a jab to Hohung's midsection.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Hohung looks for a takedown but Lugo sprawls well.

Lugo drops Hohung with a beautiful combination! Hohung stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Lugo is looking for the KO!

Lugo throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Lugo tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Hohung was well out of range. Poor timing from Lugo.
Lugo rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Hohung moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Lugo closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Hohung knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Lugo on the ground.

Lugo has hold of Hohung's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Hohung tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Lugo cranks the arm and Hohung screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Hohung, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.

He turns his back on Nister, trying to create some distance but Nister rushes him, striking wildly and Chico goes down! The referee tackles Nister into the cage to end the fight! Nister is one violent man!
