The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mushu fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Nott on the side of the head.
Nott uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Mushu.
Nott swinging wildly here.
Horrible takedown by Mushu or perhaps it was just good defense by Nott which made him look bad.
Mushu misses with a straight right.
Nott connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Mushu momentarily.
Mushu keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Mushu connects with a single shot there.
Mushu shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Nott as he avoids it easily.
Nott looks to land a left hand but Mushu moved out of range nicely.
Nott lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.

It looks like Mushu Mushu has been cut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Mushu will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Aaron Nott has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mushu Mushu.

Mushu throws a looping overhand right but Nott ducks down to avoid it.

La Gam lands a big right hand that sends Vicious crashing to the mat! La Gam stays standing though and waves Vicious back to his feet!

Sith Vicious's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
La Gam might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
Vicious moves away from the strike by La Gam.
La Gam throws a hook but Vicious blocks it.

Vicious moves into the clinch.
La Gam is trying to push Vicious away but Vicious has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.

Vicious is working for takedown but La Gam is calmly controlling the position for now.

Vicious shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as La Gam sprawls well. La Gam wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Vicious gets slowly back to his feet.

That was a close second round but I would say that Kirkwood Thomas will probably get the nod.

Bo Sherk decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.

Thomas takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Donnelly looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Thomas takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Liam Donnelly seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Thomas takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Donnelly lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Thomas shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Donnelly sends Thomas crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Donnelly is motioning to the referee to let Thomas up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

Donnelly finds Thomas's off switch, with a big overhand right that connects perfectly to the side of the head! Thomas flops back against the cage, eyes gazing into the distance. Donnelly lands an unnecessary shot before the referee has time to step in and end the fight. Brutal stuff but I'm sure Thomas will be OK.

A relieved looking Liam Donnelly thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
