Barbosa feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Frederick's calf.

Frederick darts in and clinches Barbosa up against the cage.

Frederick jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Barbosa walks away with a smile on his face. Frederick gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Frederick throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Barbosa sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Barbosa cracks Frederick with a hook to the temple - Frederick is on wobbly legs here! Barbosa swarms him with hook after hook, landing with each one! Frederick falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! Barbosa wins by TKO!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hammer looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

Hammer closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Hammer lands in his opponent's guard.

Rodriguez throws a strike but Hammer rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Rodriguez working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Hammer doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Hammer manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Rodriguez escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Hammer gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
This has been an exciting period of action!

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Hammer wants to stand and escape but instead Rodriguez has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

Rodriguez has hold of Hammer's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Hammer tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Rodriguez cranks the arm and Hammer screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Hammer, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Both fighters circling a little - Sar finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.

Sar lands a big head kick that sends Blackwood tumbling to the mat! Sar takes a step backwards and waves Blackwood back to his feet - he wants the finish!

It looks like Malcolm Blackwood has been cut.
Sar seems to be stalking Blackwood here. He circles momentarily and then unleashes a devastatic head kick! Blackwood drops like a stone, out cold! WOW! Are you kidding me!? What a knockout!
