The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

and Whitley decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Aguiar's guard.
Whitley stands and throws Aguiar's legs to the side, diving into side control.

Aguiar tries to bench press Whitley off him but Whitley keeps the position.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Whitley wants to control but Aguiar is keeping him busy.
