That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to AJ Pasion.

Merridew has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

Ai is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Moreira is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Moreira flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Ai anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Moreira and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Ai slips an arm under Moreira chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Ai has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Ai is squeezing on Moreira like an anaconda would it's prey. Moreira fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
