Jerks pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Heed taps out and this one is all over!

A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
Wilson is trying to drag Mustang to the mat but Mustang just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Mustang is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Wilson is controlling him.
Mustang is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Wilson trying to move into half guard but instead Mustang has managed to sweep!

Mustang drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Wilson dives on top into guard.
Wilson must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Mustang's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Wilson is holding on here and Mustang must be using up a lot of energy. Wilson has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Mustang gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!

I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Duncan Macgregor was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Mick Gerrard.

McQuade feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Daugavins sprawling to the canvas! Daugavins rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can McQuade finish him?!

McQuade jerks Daugavins's head down, straight into the path of a devastating knee! Daugavins drops to the floor in a crumpled heap! McQuade goes to throw a finishing haymaker but pulls out - good sportsmanship from McQuade because Daugavins was completely out of it. That was a nice finish - just the right level of brutality to send everyone home happy.
