The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lagk tries to close the distance and clinch up but Burdyalov swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Burdyalov checks a low kick from Lagk.
Burdyalov lands with a good body shot.

Burdyalov throws a nice looking combination but Lagk bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Lagk closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Lagk breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Burdyalov rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Lagk moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
We've been informed that Lagk has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.

Lagk is throwing strikes from the back here. Oh that last one was to the back of the head. Lagk gets a warning from the referee. He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Lagk gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Lagk apologises and we restart here on the feet.

Burdyalov seems a little lost for a moment, as Lagk dominates the positioning.

A punch lands to the side of Tatsui 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Stubblefield lands a big right hand and follows it up with an uppercut. Oh and another big punch and a knee - Tatsui can't take much more of this! Another big shot to the jaw from Stubblefield and Tatsui drops to the floor. Beaten and bloodied - he had enough there. A vicious beatdown by Stubblefield.

Boykin moves in looking to clinch but Thor pushes him off.
Boykin has been working on his boxing with his coaches at St Petersburg MMA Gym in the buildup to the fight.
The fighters circle momentarily. Thor darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Boykin sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
