Horrible takedown by Peters or perhaps it was just good defense by Fish which made him look bad.
Fish misses with a wild combination.

Peters drives through and clinches with Fish against the cage.
Fish fails to pull guard.

Peters breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Peters shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Fish sprawls well. Fish wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Peters gets slowly back to his feet.
Fish throws a right hand that Peters ducks under and follows up with a left that Peters also avoids with ease.
Peters misses with a takedown attempt - Fish sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
King Fish has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Daniel Peters.

Fish closes the distance and pushes Peters back into the cage.
Peters goes for a takedown attempt but Fish pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Fish looks to score with a jab to the body but Peters is just out of range.

Peters seems to be squinting his left eye. Perhaps he got a poke in that previous exchange. Fish shows no mercy and swarms him with a barage of strikes! Peters is backing up but Fish catches him with a final right hook that drops him! Peters covers up and the referee steps in to end the fight! Fish Jumps to his feet and flashes his guns to the crowd. Oh yeah, baby! How'd you like them apples?!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
