Dumas wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Floyd misses with a wild body shot.
A solid leg kick lands there for Floyd.
Dumas connects with a nice looking jab.
Dumas moves in looking to clinch but Floyd pushes him off.
Floyd throws a leg kick but Dumas moved away.
Floyd throws a head kick that misses.
Dumas throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Floyd throws a sloppy head kick and Dumas moves out of range easily.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Dumas misses with a takedown attempt - Floyd sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Floyd does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Dumas lands a nice hook to Floyd's body. Floyd takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Dumas throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Floyd was covering up waiting for the punch and Dumas finishes the takedown easily into guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Floyd manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Dumas manages to get himself to full guard.


Dumas is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Floyd defends well.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Dumas is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Dumas escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Floyd gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

We've been hearing good reports from Floyd's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Floyd controls from within his opponent's guard.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Floyd would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Dumas's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

and Floyd counters with a low kick, right behind Dumas 's knee.
Floyd throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Dumas fails to land the takedown.
Floyd throws a leg kick which misses Dumas's front leg but catches the back leg as Dumas tries to avoid it.

Floyd pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Dumas avoids a kick to the body.
Dumas looks to clinch
and Floyd counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Floyd fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Dumas manages to avoid it.
A solid leg kick lands there for Floyd.
Floyd tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Floyd closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Dumas throws an overhand right that lands on Floyd's shoulder, as Floyd tries to avoid the shot.

Floyd avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Dumas crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Floyd - the referee stops the clock and Dumas gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Floyd. Dumas manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Dumas closes the distance but Floyd moves to the side
and Floyd counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Dumas is lucky that one didn't land flush.

Floyd reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Floyd taps out! Nice BJJ there by Dumas!
