Jarvela's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Real American. Very Magnum struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 186.3lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. Pichushkin throws a punch but it's blocked by Trout.
Pichushkin wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Trout has him pressed against the cage.

Trout breaks from the clinch.
Pichushkin really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Trout closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Pichushkin quickly recovers to half guard.
We've been hearing good reports from Pichushkin's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Rock wants to get back to his feet but Waligora is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
