Peixoto comes to the cage accompanied by Mc Pet & Mc Daleste/Fase Boa. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Dobom comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Bad to the bone by George Thorogood kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! We've been told by Bones's head coaches at Brophy's Evil Troid Academy (BETA) that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

Holowitz shoots for a double leg takedown but Cervejinha sprawls well. He's pushed Holowitz's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Cervejinha fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Holowitz.
Cervejinha tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Brahma Cervejinha seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Barros has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Barros ducks down and throws a big overhand right - it lands flush on the jaw, knocking Inglorion out cold! The fight is over!

Lepew lands a right hand that snaps the head of Granger backwards.
Granger jumps guard but Lepew stands there with Granger around his waist. Granger gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Granger is looking to cinch up a triangle. Lepew throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Granger's body to avoid the submission. Granger has instead reached around Lepew's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Granger arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
