Scully misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
De La Rosa wants to clinch up but Scully keeps it at a distance.

and Scully counters with a head kick that drops De La Rosa to the mat! De La Rosa scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!

De La Rosa lands a high kick to the side of Scully's head that stuns him and send him tumbling down to the canvas! De La Rosa dives into guard, looking to finish.

It looks like Derek Scully has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

De La Rosa gets to his feet. Scully looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Scully lunges at De La Rosa with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by De La Rosa's hand.
Scully misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Scully throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Scully circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! De La Rosa drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Scully follows De La Rosa to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!

Alves drops Kesler with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Kesler! Alves dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!

That was a close round but I would say that Gage Ruehlen will probably get the nod.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Riviere is looking to control Ruehlen's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Riviere avoid being mounted?
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

BOOM! Blyer lands a beautiful left hook that drops Zombie. Zombie tries to recover but Blyer is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Zombie lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
