The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
George moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
George cracks Lepreaust with a good jab.
George throws a right hand that Lepreaust ducks under and follows up with a left that Lepreaust also avoids with ease.

George drops Lepreaust with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Lepreaust looks back up at him and smiles so George waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

George pushes Lepreaust up against the cage in a clinch.
Lepreaust jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as George walks away with a smile on his face. Lepreaust gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
No luck for Lepreaust with that takedown attempt.
George bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Lepreaust's head.

Lepreaust is rocked!
Lepreaust fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Lepreaust has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from George finds it's way round the side to connect with Lepreaust's head.
Ricky George seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
George lands with a jab that stuns his opponent. Lepreaust is looking to close the distance but George sees it coming and throws a beautiful knee! Lepreaust crumbles to the mat and that's all she wrote! Let's hope Lepreaust is OK because that was naaaaaasty!

That was a close second round but I would say that Franky Bouthillette will probably get the nod.
