Nice uppercut lands for Jones. That snapped Rousey's head back.
Rousey is trying hard to land a takedown here. Jones sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
The fighters circling - Jones throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Jones drops Rousey with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Rousey looks back up at him and smiles so Jones waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Griffin has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Stove kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Fire. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

We've been told by Gilmore's head coaches at Rift Fighting Academy that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Gilmore crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Garver - the referee stops the clock and Gilmore gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Garver. Gilmore manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
