McGill shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than McGill was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

McGill cracks Norton with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Norton on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Norton tries to get out of the position.

Norton really wants to buck McGill off and get back to his feet.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Schilling has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Kamel fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Schilling is out of range.
Schilling takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.

That was a close round but Luke Kilpatrick did the better work so I'd imagine he'll take it.
