The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bgc thows a body kick. Adam tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Bgc tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Adam swivels and escapes.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Adam crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Bgc - the referee stops the clock and Adam gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Bgc. Adam manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Adam shoots in looking for a takedown. Bgc tries to sprawl out of it but Adam keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Bgc manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Bgc keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Adam changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Bgc tries to avoid it but Adam manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Bgc to the ground. Bgc escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Bonus Bgc seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Bonus Bgc.

The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Angel has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Angel and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
