The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Grant bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
The fighters circling - de le Fe throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
de le Fe misses with a double jab.
Grant throws a right and a left that de le Fe avoids nicely.
de le Fe displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Grant throws out the jab.
de le Fe misses with a looping left.
de le Fe throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Grant misses with a two punch combination.
de le Fe stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

It looks like Brandon Grant has been cut.
de le Fe throws a jab when Grant was well out of range.
Grant scores with the left hand. de le Fe knows he should have avoided that one.

de le Fe lands a glancing blow to the side of Grant's head.

Grant changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. de le Fe looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Grant is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. de le Fe knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Grant has hold of de le Fe's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and de le Fe manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Grant is going oldschool here, as he tries to force de le Fe to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so de le Fe shrugs it off.
