Shono wants to clinch but Chulainn slips to the side

and Chulainn counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Shono!
Chulainn just content to control the position.
Chulainn works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.

Shono tries to close the distance and clinch but Chulainn swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Jason Shono seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Chulainn closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Shono to the mat! Shono manages to get full guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Chulainn is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

London felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as London accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
