The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rivas takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

It looks like Oscar Rivas has been cut.
Savage throws out a token jab with nothing on it.

Rivas shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

Rivas moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Rivas takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.

Savage fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
The fight stays on the outside here - Rivas looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Rivas's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Savage connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Rivas scrambles back to his feet.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Savage feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Rivas sprawling to the canvas! Rivas rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Savage finish him?!

Both fighters circle each other, looking for something big. Savage moves in and throws an overhand right. That hurt Rivas! Savage continues to tee off on Rivas, landing with a left and a right! Savage connects with a right hand that leaves Rivas sleeping against the cage! What a finish by Savage!

Animai drops his shoulder and cracks Cleaver with a huge uppercut! Cleaver goes down! Can Animai finish him?

It looks like Beaver Cleaver has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

Animai is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Animai gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Cleaver fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Animai is out of range.

Cleaver gets tackled into the cage by Animai. Animai maintains the clinch.

Animai escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Cleaver gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Animai gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Cleaver is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!
