The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Naga shoots in looking for a takedown but Beaver manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Naga's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Beaver lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Naga quite badly. Naga pulls Beaver in close trying to recover. Beaver postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Naga on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Naga doesn't seem to be complaining too much.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Nicky Santoro.
