The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fane thuds his right hand into Sikhouasvili's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Sikhouasvili tries to bum rush Fane with a series of wild strikes but Fane uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
A looping hook to the body misses from Sikhouasvili. Fane does a little dance to reset his feet.

Sikhouasvili cracks Fane with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Sikhouasvili has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Fane to stand back up!

Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Pawel Trybala (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Xavier Barbossa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Trybala might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Krzycz Trybson. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barbossa uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Trybala has time to react.

It looks like Pawel Trybala has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Barbossa throws the left hand but Trybala avoids the punch easily.
Trybala showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Barbossa.

Trybala shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Barbossa but Barbossa pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Barbossa throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Trybala sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Trybala fails with the takedown
and Barbossa counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Barbossa plants his feet and throws a 3 punch combo. Miss, miss, boom! The third punch, a big right hook, connects right on the temple and drops Trybala to the mat, unconscious! This fight is all over! Trybala just couldn't keep out of the way of the whole flurry of punches!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:46 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Xavier Barbossa!
A determined Xavier Barbossa didn't want to dwell on this fight in his post fight interview. Instead he was more keen to state he wants a title shot. Let's see if he gets it!

Angelo and Braune are patiently standing in front of each other looking for an opening. Angelo throws a head kick. It's landed, knocking Braune into next week! Ooooh that was huge! Angelo knows it - he's on the cage flexing is biceps. That's a bit weird considering he won by kick but whatever.

Dogg shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Menezes counters with a three punch combo that has Dogg backing up. Dogg nods at Menezes to acknowledge the strikes.

Menezes scores with a hook to the body.
Come on Menezes - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.

Menezes has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Dogg regains guard immediately.
Dogg could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Dogg trying to keep a closed guard but Menezes is proving a slippery customer.
Dogg preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Menezes postures up in Dogg's guard and throws a big left but Dogg blocks it.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Dogg holds on and takes a little breather.
Dogg is in a tricky position. We've heard reports from his gym mates at Tenacity Elite - 17 Coaches that he's been drilling escapes, so let's see if he can get back to his feet.

Dogg is fighting off a takedown attempt but Menezes is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Dogg to the mat. Dogg regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Ron Dogg wasn't doing enough on the ground.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Menezes ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Menezes no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Menezes is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Dogg dives into side control.
Dogg creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Menezes sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Barnett shoots for a double leg takedown but Smith sprawls well. He's pushed Barnett's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Barnett goes for a takedown attempt but Smith pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Matt Barnett seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Barnett shoots in but Smith avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Smith connects with a jab and follows up with a big overhand right! Oh that's hurt Barnett! He's out on his feet! Smith rushes in and drops Barnett with another big right hand, forcing the referee to stop the fight!

Possibly an early stoppage but Swag doesn't seem to be complaining too much.

Singh tries to close the distance and clinch but Ramon swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Dahmer tries for a takedown but Machida circles away easily
and Machida counters with a left and a right that stings Dahmer.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Machida, as that shot connected.
Dahmer shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Machida pinned against the cage. Machida gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Machida keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Machida throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Dahmer stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
A nice combination there by Machida.
