The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ouellette misses with a series of wild punches.
Ouellette lands a glancing blow to the side of Concrete's head.
Ouellette misses with a jab, cross combination.
Ouellette defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Concrete.
Ouellette scores with a one two! Concrete had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Ouellette lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Ouellette throws a jab when Concrete was well out of range.
Ouellette throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Concrete shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Ouellette but Ouellette pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Ouellette tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Concrete is able to avoid easily.
Concrete blocks a head kick by Ouellette.
No joy there for Ouellette, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Ouellette will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Nick Ouellette seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ouellette tries to close the distance and clinch but Concrete swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Concrete just misses with a punch to the body.
Ouellette rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Concrete moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Ouellette throws a leg kick but Concrete checks it.

Ouellette fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Concrete.

You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.

Concrete has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Ouellette has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
A bit of a pause in the action here. Concrete controlling the positon.

Concrete looking to break Ouellette's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Ouellette remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Concrete will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!

Gibson turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Martin lands a jab.
Gibson does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Martin closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Martin lands in his opponent's guard.
Martin trying to control the position from guard on top but Gibson is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Gibson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Martin. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Gibson wants to get back to his feet but Martin is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Martin looking to sit in guard and control but Gibson gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

A slow jab from Giguere misses its intended target.
Benoit Giguere seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Giguere feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Sanford sprawling to the canvas! Sanford rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Giguere finish him?!

It looks like Kenny Sanford has been cut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Giguere misses with a looping left.
No luck for Sanford with that takedown attempt.
Sanford closes the distance and clinches up with Giguere, looking for a takedown. Sanford pushes Giguere against the cage but Giguere circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Giguere cracks Sanford with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Giguere has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Sanford to stand back up!

Giguere finds Sanford's off switch, with a big overhand right that connects perfectly to the side of the head! Sanford flops back against the cage, eyes gazing into the distance. Giguere lands an unnecessary shot before the referee has time to step in and end the fight. Brutal stuff but I'm sure Sanford will be OK.
