The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A looping hook to the body misses from Jones. Skidoo does a little dance to reset his feet.

Skidoo felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.

Olson shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Kane but Kane pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Kane throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Olson's head.
Kevin Olson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Horrible takedown by Olson or perhaps it was just good defense by Kane which made him look bad.

That was a close second round but I would say that Pirate Dan will probably get the nod.

That was a close round but Pirate Dan did the better work so I'd imagine he'll take it.

You can see the frustration on Dan's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

Dan is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Punchy gets his way!

During a confident post fight interview, Trent Punchy thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
