The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Masters misses with the combination.

Maipazong Lee seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Lee stuns Masters with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Masters bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Masters darts in and clinches Lee up against the cage.
Masters is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Lee is defending well for now.
Lee is trying to break the clinch but Masters is controlling him.

Masters thows a huge punch but Lee dodges it nicely.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Masters seems to have got his legs back now.

Masters shoots in but Lee avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Lee fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Masters manages to avoid it.

Masters shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Lee pinned against the cage. Lee gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Masters tries to move into range but Lee moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

Masters is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Lee is just riding it out for now. Masters eventually gives up the hold.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
