The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Crane slips under a jab from Engel.

Crane feints and as Engel raises his hands in defense, Crane changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Crane slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

Crane will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Crane misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

Hammet's coaches at HILITE Fighting Club have been working on his defensive grappling in preparation for this fight so let's see if he can get out of this tricky position.

Jitsu has an Americana. Hammet didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Jitsu is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Jitsu hooks up with any of them at the after show party.

Robillard ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Ution moves away.
Robillard dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Ution. That did some damage!
Ution shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Ution tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Robillard smiles and moves away.

Ution drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Robillard is pushing Ution's head away, looking to escape. Ution manages to hold on to the position though.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Ution throws an elbow but Robillard slips to the side and avoids it well.
Ution in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time.
Ution has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Robillard bucks up and tries to throw Ution off but instead Ution has got his back!
This has been an exciting period of action!
