The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Some wild striking there from Lie.
Weber looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Lie tries to close the distance and clinch but Weber swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Lie throws a 1-2 combo that connects squarely on Weber's jaw, knocking him onto his back! Lie dives in looking to finish as Weber flails his arms in a desperate attempt to block Lie's strikes! Lie is raining down hammerfists and the ref stops it! Weber's desperate flailing just didn't constitute intelligent defence. Some people will probably question the ref's decision but Weber was definitely hurt and the ref saved him from taking unnecessary punishment. A fighter's safety is paramount in this sport.

Oh Proudstar is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Hytten throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Proudstar moves out of range as Hytten strikes.
Hytten keeps the fight on the outside.
Kent Hytten seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Proudstar tries for a takedown but Hytten sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Hytten cracks Proudstar with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Proudstar tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Hytten pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Proudstar is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
