Undercard bout

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Arne De Rick (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Teddy Baxter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 4 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Arne De Rick!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 6 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Teddy Baxter!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Gwen Towbar and Chris Downing.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
De Rick cracks Baxter with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
De Rick will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Baxter tries to score a power double leg takedown but De Rick sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Baxter somewhat.

Baxter feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
De Rick utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
De Rick wants to stand but Baxter is controlling the position.

Baxter drops back, looking for a kneebar! De Rick looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. De Rick looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from De Rick!

I think Gump might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to DJ Khaled -All I do is win. McCuistion has chosen Sunken Hips in Space as his entrance music. Forrest Gump has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save McCuistion from any more punishment! McCuistion complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
