The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
De Rick cracks Baxter with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
De Rick will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Baxter tries to score a power double leg takedown but De Rick sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Baxter somewhat.
Baxter feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
De Rick utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Hendo Han seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Han fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Stone looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Donk. Stone catches Han right on the button with a cross.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

and Stone counters with a big right hand! Oh Han is in trouble here! Stone follows up with more strikes and that's it! The ref has stopped it!
