Magalhaes tries to close the distance and clinch but Penn swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Penn throws a sloppy head kick and Magalhaes moves out of range easily.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the welterweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Just Roll!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Andrew Holland!
The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Igor Prikhodko and Konstantin Menshow.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Holland wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Holland listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Holland scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Holland lands a nice looking body shot.
Roll will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Holland throws a lazy right hand but Roll sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Just Roll seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Roll takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Roll darts in looking for a takedown but Holland gets double underhooks and turns Roll into the cage.
Holland scores with a nice hook to the head.
Roll is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Holland to keep the fight standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Just Roll. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Holland's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

Roll feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Roll drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Roll as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Holland screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Roll! Nice submission victory there!
