The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mangler does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
McDugan throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Mangler.
McDugan lands a high kick!
McDugan shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Mangler as he jumps to the side.
A telegraphed right hand from Mangler misses the target.
McDugan throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Mangler's waist but Mangler gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing McDugan off to one side.
McDugan connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Mangler keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Anselmo lands a big head kick that sends Punishment tumbling to the mat! Anselmo takes a step backwards and waves Punishment back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Drogbah lands a nice looking body shot.
No joy there for Drogbah, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Drogbah lands with a nice combination. Mekhontsev backs away looking to recover.
Mekhontsev blocks a head kick by Drogbah.
Didiero Drogbah seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Mekhontsev tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Drogbah scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Mekhontsev showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Drogbah.
Mekhontsev connects with a nice looking jab.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Drogbah wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Mekhontsev avoids a punch combination nicely.

Mekhontsev rushes Drogbah and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Drogbah is looking to break free of the clinch but Mekhontsev has double underhooks.
A nice right hand lands inside from Mekhontsev.

Drogbah jumps guard and drags Mekhontsev to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Mekhontsev has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Drogbah is proving hard to escape from.

Drogbah lands a hook that stumbles Mekhontsev back into the cage. Drogbah follows up with a straight and another hook that land right on the button, dropping Mekhontsev to the canvas! Drogbah pounces and lands several unanswered shots - Mekhontsev has had enough and taps out! This one is all over!
