We've been hearing reports that Gonzalez has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

Whittaker forces Liaudin back against the cage and clinches.
Liaudin jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Whittaker walks away with a smile on his face. Liaudin gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Whittaker stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Liaudin fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Liaudin takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Whittaker throws a nice looking combination but Liaudin bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Whittaker is looking to defend but Liaudin has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Whittaker! Liaudin pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Whittaker taps out and this one is all over!

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Johnson.
Gomez avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Gomez throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Johnson's waist but Johnson gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Gomez off to one side.

Gomez cracks Johnson with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Johnson dives in for a single leg takedown but Gomez sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Gomez lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.

Johnson tries to stall but Gomez uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
