The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Finnegan throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Finnegan feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Davisdon's calf.
Finnegan walks forward, straight into a front kick from Davisdon.

Davisdon pushes Finnegan up against the cage in a clinch.

Finnegan is fighting off a takedown attempt but Davisdon is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Finnegan to the mat. Finnegan regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

Finnegan has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Davisdon is really squeezing tight and eventually Finnegan passes out! Davisdon breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
