The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Couture misses with a hook

and Jonhnson counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Couture gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Jonhnson.
Jonhnson is trying to break the clinch but Couture is controlling him.
Jonhnson is looking to take this one to the mat.
Couture is pressed up against the cage. Jonhnson has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Couture down to the mat. Couture avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Randy Couture has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Daquiem Jonhnson.
Jonhnson avoids the head kick by Couture.
Couture keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Jonhnson.
Jonhnson fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Jonhnson should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Couture plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!

It looks like Daquiem Jonhnson has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Jonhnson cracks Couture with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Jonhnson lands with a shot to the body.
Couture circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Jonhnson drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Couture follows Jonhnson to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pablos shoots in looking for a takedown but Fanco manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Pablos's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Pablos blocks the body kick.
Fanco definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Fanco misses with a kick to the body.
Fanco is looking to land body kicks.
Sloppy strikes from Fanco. Those never looked like landing.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Fanco is fighting off a takedown attempt but Pablos is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Fanco to the mat. Fanco regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

Pablos drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Pablos jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Pablos drops back looking for a leg! Fanco is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Fanco manages to kick Pablos off! Pablos jumps back into Fanco's guard.

Fanco escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Pablos gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Pablos drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Pablos jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Pablos is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

Fanco working for a triangle but Pablos defends it easily.

Pablos avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Fanco is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Pablos is aware though and is defending well.

Pablos got a little sloppy there for a moment and Fanco has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Pablos has managed to get both his arms back between Fanco's legs - danger averted.

Fanco has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Pablos is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Fanco.
Pablos is looking to take a break and control but Fanco is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Pablos has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Fanco is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Pablos yanks on the arm and Fanco is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Pablos.

Nice uppercut lands for Deacon. That snapped Lluca's head back.
Lluca definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Deacon cracks a nice hook into Lluca's ribs.
The fighters circle momentarily. Deacon darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

Deacon feints and then cracks Lluca's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Lluca down.

This has been an exciting period of action!

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Valentin Lluca. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Deacon throws a lazy right hand but Lluca sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Lluca throws a nice looking combination but Deacon bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Lluca stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Deacon.

Lluca misses with a wild combination.
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Lluca. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
Deacon throws a hook to the side of Lluca's head but Lluca sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Lluca looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Lluca tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Deacon swivels and escapes.
Deacon swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Deacon scores with a jab. Lluca acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Good standup being displayed there by Deacon as he connects with a hook.

Lluca shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

Deacon does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Deacon has worked on his takedown defense in the runup to this fight and it is paying off so far.

Deacon throws an overhand right that lands on Lluca's shoulder, as Lluca tries to avoid the shot.

Deacon goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Lluca throws a right and a left that Deacon avoids nicely.
Deacon cracks Lluca with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.

David Deacon seems to be getting the better of the standup.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Deacon enables Lluca to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Deacon manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Lluca seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Lluca throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Deacon works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Lluca has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Deacon wants to stand and escape but Lluca is having none of it.
Lluca not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

We're going to have a standup here because Valentin Lluca wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Deacon fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Lluca has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Lluca looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that.

Deacon connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Lluca drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.

Lluca is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Lluca shoots for a double leg takedown but Deacon sprawls well. He's pushed Lluca's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Deacon is trying to control Lluca's posture but Lluca avoids it.

Deacon has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Lluca tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Lluca has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

I would just about give that final round to David Deacon.
