Fortisimo thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Javans if he has to take too many more of those.
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Fortisimo! Javans is out on his feet! Fortisimo rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Javans is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Javans is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.

Jaeger thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Tamei if he has to take too many more of those.
Tamei with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Jaeger to score with a decent uppercut.

Tamei throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Jaeger throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

and Tamei counters with a solid body kick.

Tamei lands with an uppercut that bounces Jaeger off the cage and back into range.
Tamei tries to close the distance and clinch up but Jaeger swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Tamei lands with an uppercut that bounces Jaeger off the cage and back into range.

A left and a right from Jaeger both land. Nice combination.
Tamei throws a hook but Jaeger blocks it.

Jaeger looks to land a combination. Tamei sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.

Tamei lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Jaeger on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Tamei. Tamei obviously looking to wear him down.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Tamei throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Jaeger stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Jaeger takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Tamei lands a nice looking kick to the body. Jaeger takes a step back to recover.
Tamei digs a good body shot into Jaeger's ribs.
Crunch! Tamei slams his shin into Jaeger's torso.
Tamei cracks Jaeger with a right hand to the side of the head.
Tamei connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.

Jamison Jaeger's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.

Tamei lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Tamei takes a swing at Jaeger's ribcage but misses.
A slow jab from Jaeger misses its intended target.
Tamei lands with a nice body kick.
Tamei feints with a jab and clips Jaeger right behind the ear with a massive overhand right! Jaeger is sent crashing into the canvas and Tamei leaps in for the kill! Jaeger tries to get to his feet but Tamei is just battering him from every conceivable angle. The ref decides that Jaeger is in need of a savior and steps in!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:21 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Emaus Tamei!

and Penzer counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

Walls takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Walls tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Penzer manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Walls looks to score with a jab to the body but Penzer is just out of range.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Walls has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

and Penzer counters with a series of strikes that really hurt Walls! The ref looks into his eyes and sees nobody home - he's called the fight! This one is all over!

Bekeroon lands a slapping body shot.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Bekeroon crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Slade - the referee stops the clock and Bekeroon gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Slade. Bekeroon manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Slade fails with an attempt to clinch.
Slade misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Bekeroon.
Bekeroon looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Slade.
Slade throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.

It looks like Romeo Bekeroon has been cut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Bekeroon lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Bekeroon.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Oh, that's a big right hand from Slade and Bekeroon goes tumbling to the canvas! Slade follows him to the ground and looks to finish from half guard.
Slade perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Slade throwing shots but Bekeroon is blocking nicely.
Slade looks to land a strike but Bekeroon avoids it nicely and regains full guard.

Slade drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Slade jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Slade is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Slade postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Tyrone Slade dominated that round.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Bekeroon on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Bekeroon tries to get out of the position.

Slade decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Bekeroon, up you get!

Bekeroon clinches up with Slade and pushes him back against the cage.
Slade misses with a body punch.

Bekeroon's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Slade looks to throw the jab but Bekeroon is out of range.
