The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Some wild striking there from Garver.
Garver throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Gynowski sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Gynowski connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Garver momentarily.
Gynowski blocks a jab.
Garver misses the shot to the body.
Garver throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
A looping hook to the body misses from Gynowski. Garver does a little dance to reset his feet.

We've been told by Garver's head coaches at Rift Fighting Academy that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Garver backs away from a small jab... but Gynowski lunges forward with a huge superman punch! Garver crumples to the ground as his mouth piece is sent flying! Gynowski with a spectacular finish!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
