Takeru looks for a left high kick but can't connect. Takeru backs up to catch a breather... no he lunges forward with a huge flying knee that smacks Senju's temple! It sends Senju violently to the canvas! The crowd goes nuts as Takeru celebrates and the doctors try to help Senju!

We've been hearing reports that Paaine has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

Paaine bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Roist takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.

Paaine has hold of Roist's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Roist seems comfortable defending it but Paaine has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Roist is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Roist is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Paaine couldn't care less - he's delighted!

West dives in for a single leg takedown but Davis sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

West bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Davis enables West to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Davis manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
West wants to control from the top but Davis keeps moving.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Will West hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
West uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.

West has Davis pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. West pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Davis tumbling to the mat - West dives into Davis's guard.
Davis can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as West controls the pace.
Davis is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

West shoots in and drives through. Davis sprawls well.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Davis moves in looking to clinch but West pushes him off.

West shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Davis napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Davis has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.
