Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Grant Manfield!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jack works over Manfield's head and body with a nice combination.

Jack shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Jack was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Manfield takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Jack swings around for an armbar but Manfield sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Jack's guard.

Jack has his foot on Manfield's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Manfield works his way back into a safe position though.
Jack is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Manfield stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Jack swivels though and keeps the full guard.
