The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from McGuirk is defended easily by Briar.
A head kick misses from McGuirk.
McGuirk shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Briar as he jumps to the side.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Briar has eaten all the pies!
McGuirk lands with a good body shot.

It looks like Rasputin Briar has been cut.
McGuirk tries to bum rush Briar with a series of wild strikes but Briar uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
McGuirk has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Infinity in the buildup to the fight.

McGuirk shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. McGuirk showed some decent athleticism there.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Briar can do anything to dispel that myth.
