A jab from Fiddle misses.
A decent looking cross lands there for Fiddle.
Fiddle slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Fiddle looks to land a right hand but Leclair moved out of range.
Fiddle throws a jab but it's blocked by Leclair.
Fiddle dodges the punch combination from Leclair.

Leclair scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Leclair scores with a couple of short elbows.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Leclair has hold of Fiddle's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Fiddle seems comfortable defending it but Leclair has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Fiddle is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Fiddle is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Leclair couldn't care less - he's delighted!

Leonide Leclair seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.

Undercard bout

Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Matthew Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sean Hughes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Hughes's choice of entrance music: eminem-lose yourself. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Hughes swats away the attempt to clinch by Silva.
Silva shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Hughes but Hughes pushes him off and we're back to square one.

and Silva takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Hughes lands a right hook to the body.
Hughes tries to clinch but Silva is having none of it.
Silva circles away from the clinch attempt.

Silva drives through and clinches with Hughes against the cage.
Hughes jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Silva walks away with a smile on his face. Hughes gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Hughes should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Silva is trying to trip Hughes. He has hold of a leg but Hughes is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Silva persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Matthew Silva.

Roist lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

and Roist makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
