The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Krutcher walks into a left hand.
Krutcher slips a straight right by Salcedo.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Krutcher, as that shot connected.

It looks like Oscar Salcedo has been cut.
Krutcher displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.
Salcedo looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Krutcher is fending him off so far but Salcedo persists. Nope, Krutcher circles away and we're back to standing.
Krutcher lunges at Salcedo with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Salcedo's hand.

Salcedo is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Krutcher fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Salcedo.
Salcedo is still on wobbly legs! Can Krutcher finish him?
Krutcher seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Krutcher goes for a small jab and connects. Now Krutcher goes in closer pressing the issue. Left hook, right straight! Salcedo stumbles back but Krutcher runs in with a huge uppercut knocking Salcedo to the ground! What a finish! You have to wonder if Salcedo will ever be the same after a knockout like that.

and Billet counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Billet.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

Rey scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Rey throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Rey has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Billet looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Rey stalks Billet and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Billet's face. Billet staggers backwards, shaken.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Rey connects with a leg kick. Billet looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.

and Billet counters with a three punch combo that has Rey backing up. Rey nods at Billet to acknowledge the strikes.
Rey stuffs the takedown attempt from Billet. Billet gets slowly back to his feet.
Rey tries to clinch up but Billet circles away and keeps his distance.
Billet shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Rey defends it nicely.
Rey will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
A slapping leg kick lands for Rey.

Rey misses with the head strike.
Rey fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Rey gets through Billet's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Rey is pressed up against the cage. Billet has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Rey down to the mat. Rey avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Billet takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
We've been told by Billet's head coaches at MMA Warrior (1000$ / 15 Elite Coaches) that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Rey looks to land a left hand but Billet moved out of range nicely.
Zachery Rey is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Billet throws a looping overhand right but Rey ducks down to avoid it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Rey can do anything to dispel that myth.

The fight stays on the outside here - Rey looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Billet has instead reached around Rey's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Billet arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.

Belin Billet really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that KAISER logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
