Nexus has clasped his hands together around Penn's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.
Penn tries to improve position but can't.
Nexus in side control, just content to control the action for now.

Penn tries to bench press Nexus off him but Nexus keeps the position.
Nexus is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Penn's shoulder. That is not cool.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Nexus has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Galaxy Nexus dominated that second round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. And we move into the final round!


Penn with a poor takedown
and Nexus connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Nexus lands a right hook to the body.

Nexus drops Penn with a straight right hand, right on the button! Nexus follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!

Galaxy Nexus decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pendragon avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Pendragon throws a head kick that misses.
Pendragon has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Bartlet.
Bartlet throws a body kick that misses.
Bartlet throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Pendragon's head.

It looks like Amr Pendragon has been cut.
Bartlet throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Bartlet tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Pendragon paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Bartlet has closed the distance and engaged Pendragon in a clinch.
Bartlet is trying to drag Pendragon to the mat but Pendragon just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Bartlet breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Bartlet throws a wild body kick that Pendragon sees coming a mile off.
Bartlet lands a leg kick that knocks Pendragon off balance momentarily.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Bartlet moves into the clinch.
Pendragon taking a breather.
Bartlet lands an elbow just above Pendragon 's eye.
Bartlet lands a nice elbow from the clinch.
A nice glancing elbow lands by Bartlet.
Bartlet lands an elbow inside.

Bartlet manages to break the clinch.

Bartlet forces Pendragon back against the cage and clinches.
Bartlet looks to throw an elbow but misses.

Pendragon looking to stall.
With the two fighters working up against the cage, Bartlet just misses with a elbow thrown towards Pendragon's brow.
Pendragon scores with a shot to the side of Bartlet's head.
Pendragon swings wildly with an uppercut but Bartlet uses good head movement to avoid it.
Pendragon takes an elbow to the temple.

That has opened up Amr Pendragon's cut even more.
Pendragon blocks an elbow strike from Bartlet.
Pendragon tries to break free but Bartlet pushes him back against the cage.
Nice elbow from Bartlet.

Pendragon breaks from the clinch.
Bartlet thumps Pendragon with a low kick.
Bartlet ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Bartlet takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Bartlet is looking to land body kicks.
Pendragon lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Pendragon throws the kick towards the body but Bartlet avoids it.
Good leg kick by Bartlet there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Pendragon tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Pendragon moves out of range of the leg kick from Bartlet.
Bartlet ducks right into an uppercut from Pendragon.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Bartlet has taken the fight to the clinch.
Pendragon wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Pendragon is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
Bartlet lands an elbow just above Pendragon 's eye.
Pendragon misses with a short punch on the inside.
Pendragon is looking to control Bartlet's arms but Bartlet gets an underhook and turns him. Now Pendragon has his back to the cage.
Pendragon takes an elbow to the forehead.
Bartlet lands an elbow inside.

The cut above Amr Pendragon's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Pendragon.
Pendragon is trying to break free.
Bartlet creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Pendragon's defenses.
Pendragon throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
Bartlet lands a nice elbow from the clinch.

Amr Pendragon's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
Pendragon wants to stall.
Bartlet creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Pendragon's defenses.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Amr Pendragon's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
